I want to make an animation which is entertaining and can help people know more about the otaku culture in Hong Kong. I found that there is a interesting circumstance in Hong Kong. When there was an old bus line closed or a new railway station opened somewhere in Hong Kong, there must be people there to take pohotoes or even celebrate like big events. This told me that things about transportations in Hong Kong, (including bus, MTR, tram, and peak tram, etc.) are important to these people. I thing studying these kind of people is interesting since you can never understand why they are crazy with this stuff. I am so impressed because my brother is one of them too, he appears in every opening or closing ceremonies of the transportations in Hong Kong. So, I wanted to use my brother 's case to refect these kind of people in Hong Kong.
My animation title is called "電車潮童".This is story about otaku in Hong Kong, I wanted to show that they are in a special kind of trend, in cantonese this is called "潮童" in otaku culture.They are crazy with the trend of transports in Hong Kong, just like women crazy with brands.
